Impact Stories

Teddy-

Teddy wasn't supposed to have a family. He was instead supposed to go to a labratory where he would be used to test on and then he would be killed. But instead he was saved. Hundreds of people came together to fight against the dogs being used in testing. Finally the dogs like Teddy were released and given to the Michigan Humane Society to be adopeted

Ending cosmetics testing on animals-

With support from many people New York was able to become the 10th US state to prohibit the sale of cosmetics tested on animals. It is able ot join California, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and Virginia. With more help it will be able to continue to promote non-animal alternatives and build support for the bipartisan Humane Cosmetics Act, legislation to prohibit the production and sale of animal-tested cosmetics in the U.S.
